The last place I ever thought I’d end up is in a car with my boss, driving down the Oregon Coast to expand the company’s accounts in a new market. He’s handsome and he knows it, he’s socially charming to a fault, and he just stole the job that was rightfully mine. I know they sent us to learn to work together, but I plan to get him fired so I can finally get promoted.
